Glass Red Rose Sculpture Justin Berg's art glass creations are inspired renderings of patterns, colors, and forms found in nature. Each piece is produced by custom mixing, blending and/or layering of colored borosilicate glass to create unique colors which are fused to the surface of heated raw glass. This technique is a traditional glass working method called lampworking. The piece is then expanded through the use of a blowpipe and temperatures over 3000 degrees Fahrenheit. These "free forms" are then manipulated by Justin into the desired shape. After a slow cool, the results are individual pieces recognized for their uniqueness in expression and clarity of color.
